Service Description
This course meets for two 90-minute sessions (3 hrs. total): July 9 at 10:00-11:30am, AND July 11 at 10:00-11:30am Our small-group format engages students with fun activities focused on high interest fiction, while it expands their vocabulary and sharpens core writing skills… All in support of the ultimate goals of strong comprehension and a positive attitude toward reading. Theme: Short Stories <-- **NEW CONTENT EVERY WEEK!** Age Group: Rising 5th and 6th graders Upper EL students experience the wonderful world of short stories, a powerful genre that is sometimes overlooked. Readers are nudged to move beyond familiar graphic or fantasy novels into stories that challenge their worldview, place them in dynamic contexts, and get them thinking about important interpersonal questions.
Cancellation Policy
100% due at registration to hold your child's spot. Cancellations for refund are accepted up to 30 days prior to start of session week. Otherwise, all session fees are non-refundable.
